Our prediction for this Championship match:
Following back-to-back defeats to Norwich City and Bristol City, Plymouth will be aiming to return to winning ways when they take on Swansea City on Tuesday evening. Tired legs should not prove to be a big problem for the Pilgrims as they were not in action at the weekend and their fine home record (4-3-1) is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of the visit of Swansea. Bear in mind, though, that the likes of Cissoko, Edwards, Galloway, Hardie, Hazard, Tijani, and Whittaker are out of contention with injuries for the home side.
The South Wales outfit, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous three league matches. Swansea aim to move closer to the playoffs berth, but seeing that Plymouth want this win more than the visitors, we are tempted to place our bets on Wayne Rooney’s troops this time out. The likes of Parker, Ginnelly, Fisher, and Cooper should miss out with injuries for the visiting side.
