Israel
Romania will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run in EURO 2024 qualifiers to five games when they face Israel at Arena Nationala in Bucharest. The Tricolores did well to come from two goals behind to hold Switzerland to a draw in June and they are now on a quest to return to winning ways in Group I. Parma forward Valentin Mihaila is pushing for a start after scoring a brace in the last group game, while defender Mario Camora has overcome his injury.
The Israelis, on the other hand, are eager to build on back-to-back wins over Belarus and Andorra. Considering that the visitors will go for a win as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Tottenham forward Manor Solomon, who provided two assists for his teammates in a 5-2 win over Burnley at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Denis Alibec):
After starting his senior career at Farul Constanta, Denis Alibec joined Italian giants Inter in 2009, but he failed to establish himself as a first-team regular at the Serie A club. The Romanian attacker made no more than two appearances for the Nerazzurri in the Italian top flight and he was hungry for a first-team football.
As a result, he signed a loan deal with Mechelen in 2011 and he spent the 2012/2013 season at Viitorul Constanta. Denis Alibec played one match for Bologna on loan as well and in 2014 he signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with Astra Giurgiu. Alibec scored 32 goals in 64 appearances for the club before joining Steaua Bucharest in 2017.
He has been playing for the Stelistii ever since and it has to be noted that he scored eight goals for the Romanian outfit in the 2016/2017 Liga 1 campaign. Denis Alibec made his debut for the Romania national football team on October 11, 2015 in an Euro 2016 qualifier against Faroe Islands.

Israel are the direct successor of the Mandatory Palestine national football team. The Israelis received full UEFA membership in 1994, 20 years after leaving AFC and they have been facing European sides in the World Cup qualifiers ever since. Israel participated at the 1970 FIFA World Cup finals in Mexico, but they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the showpiece tournament.
The Israeli national football team have yet to qualify for the final stages of the European Championship, but they made it to the quarter-finals of the Olympics on two occasions (1968, 1976). Israel play their home games at both Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa and Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.
