Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Fratton Park will host Saturday’s football game between Portsmouth and Accrington Stanley, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table ahead of Matchday 38. Portsmouth head into the match following a 2-2 draw with Fleetwood Town, and it has to be noted that they aim to put an end to their three-game winless run in all competitions.
The Pompey are eyeing automatic promotion to the Championship, and we predict that they are going to take advantage of the fact that Accrington duo Harvey Rodgers – Sam Finley misses the match through suspension. The visitors have been struggling at the back of late, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the promotion-chasing side. In the first half of the season Accrington Stanley crushed Portsmouth 4-1, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.
This game is postponed.
