Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Logrones and Cartagena go head to head at Estadio Las Gaunas in the La Liga 2 round 36. Logrones have been impressive at the back of late, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive clean sheet in the Segunda Division. The newcomers are determined to secure the survival, but they will have to be at their sharpest in the remainder of the season if they are to meet the goal. Cartagena are on the same quest as they sit in the relegation zone ahead of Matchday 36.
The Black and Whites look solid at the back as well, and, taking everything into account, a low-scoring affair is on the cards at Estadio Las Gaunas. In the first half of the season Logrones defeated Cartagena at Estadio Municipal Cartagonova thanks to Ander Vitoria’s goal, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals.
Highlighted Player (Ander Vitoria ):
Ander Vitoria is a Spanish attacker who plays for UD Logrones in Segunda Division. Vitoria played for Zubizarreta-Igorre at youth level when Athletic Club scouts spotted him. He joined the Basque Lions at the age of ten, but he did not see any game action with the San Mames outfit at senior level.
Ander Vitoria played for the likes of Basconia, Lemona (loan), Amorebieta (loan), Portugaleta, Sant Andreu, Leioa, Burgos, and Barakaldo before joining UD Logrones. Vitoria made his Logrones debut in a goalless draw with Durango on August 25, 2018. Born in Igorre, Spain on January 22, 1990, Ander Vitoria wears the No. 9 shirt at Logrones.
His primary position is centre-forward, and his contract with UD Logrones should expire on June 30, 2021. Ander Vitoria scored his first goal for Union Deportiva in a 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad B on December 2, 2018 at Estadio Nuevo Municipal las Gaunas.
Highlighted Team (Cartagena):
Founded on July 25, 1995, Cartagena is a Spanish football club that plays in La Liga 2. Los Boquerones dropped to Segunda B in the 2011/12 season, but following an eight-year absence, they returned to the Spanish second tier.
Cartagena play home matches at Cartagonova, the venue which can hold 15,105 spectators. The stadium was built by CMMP Arquitectos in 1987, and opened the following year. Real Murcia are regarded as the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Derbi of the Region of Murcia. Toche is leading Cartagena’s all-time top goalscoring chart with 39 goals.
Los Boquerones are well known for their black shirts with white stripes. Red, on the other hand, is the dominant colour of the club’s away kit. It has to be noted that Cartagena have never competed in la liga. The club’s highest ranking in the Segunda Division came in the 2009/10 season when they finished the campaign in 5th position in the standings.
