Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Brescia and Salernitana face each other at Stadio Mario Rigamonti in the opening match of Serie B round 25. Le Rondinelle desperately needed a win against Carrarese and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their eleven-game winless run and a triumph over Salernitana will see them move closer to the playoffs berth. Midfielder Matthias Verreth serves a one-game ban, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
I Granata, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Cremonese, but beating Brescia and Stadio Mario Rigamonti is easier said than done. Earlier this season, the two teams played out a goalless draw at Stadio Arechi and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide miss out with injury, but the 27-year-old should be the only absentee in the visiting team.
Highlighted Team (Brescia):

Hosting their rivals at Stadio Mario Rigamonti, the stadium with the capacity of 16,743, Brescia are Italian team founded back in 1911 under the name of Brescia Football Club. Le Rondinelle are well known for their blue and white shirts, but white is dominant colour in their away kit.
Atalanta are considered one of the club’s fiercest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Derby of Lombardy. The Stadio Mario Rigamonti outfit have rivalries with the likes of Inter, Hellas Verona and Cremonese as well. Roberto Baggio, who has 56 caps with the Italy national football team, is considered the most famous footballer who played for Brescia.
Robi scored 45 goals in 95 appearances in the Serie A for le Rondinelle. It has to be noted that the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Gheorge Hagi, Pep Guardiola, Luca Toni, Luigi Di Biagio and Dario Hubner were part of Brescia in the past as well. However, Mario Rigamonti is the club’s biggest legend as he died in the Superga air disaster back in 1949.
