Albania and San Marino face each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Air Albania Stadium. The hosts are eyeing a top-two finish in Group I, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the minnows. Southampton attacker Armando Broja, who scored the winner against Hungary, is widely expected to return to the starting XI, whereas defender Klaus Gjasula is out of contention through suspension.
San Marino, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems in a 7-1 loss to Poland, and given their five-game losing run in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, we do not believe that the underdogs are capable of claiming a major scalp in round 6. San Marino defender Dante Rossi, who limped off with injury in the defeat to Poland, is unlikely to feature against Albania. Born on 2nd February 1994, Elseid Hysaj is an Albanian defender who has spent his entire professional career in Italian Serie A and he is predicted a bright future in the game. Empoli scouts spotted his talent while he was playing for Shodra youth sides, and after three years in the youth team, the full-back was promoted to the first team set up.
Hysaj performed really well in his first three years as a first team regular, helping the Azzurri gain promotion to the top fight in the process. One season in Serie A proved enough for the right-sided defender to secure a big club move as he joined Napoli in the summer of 2015 and immediately nailed down a regular starting berth.
Capable of doing dirty defensive work as well as making forward runs, Hysaj is a modern full-back, who is destined for big things. The talented footballer is already a key member of the Albania national team and he will represent the country at the Euro 2016 finals.

San Marino played their first official match back in 1990, with the team suffering a 4-0 loss to Switzerland in the European Championship qualifiers. The minnows often serve as a cannon fodder for their rivals in competitive games, but it has to be noted that they did well to hold Estonia to a goalless draw in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
San Marino have yet to record a win in the qualifiers for the major tournaments, but on April 28, 2004 they recorded a hard-fought victory over Liechtenstein in a friendly match and that is considered their biggest achievement. “La Serenissima” welcome their rivals at San Marino Stadium and the capacity of the venue is only 6.664.
