Milan and Crvena Zvezda go head to head at Stadio San Siro in the Europa League last 32, return leg. The two teams played out a 2-2 draw in Belgrade, with the Serbian champions scoring a late equalizer with ten men on the field. Dejan Stankovic’s troops will have a much bigger fish to fry in the return leg, and seeing that they head into the match with a severely-weakened squad, we are not tempted to put our money on the underdogs.
Both Milan Rodic and Nemanja Milunovic are sidelined through suspension, while key player Aleksandar Katai remains in the recovery room. The Rossoneri, on the other hand, are eager to make amends for a heart-breaking 3-0 loss to Inter, and we are positive that Stefano Pioli’s men will leave their hearts on the field. Both Bennacer and Mandzukic are injured for the hosts, while Samu Castillejo should be recalled to the starting XI.

He made his debut with the Italy U21 national team on June 19, 2019 in a 1-0 defeat to Poland. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a central midfielder as well. Sandro’s preferred foot is right and his contract with Brescia should expire on June 30, 2021.

Crvena Zvezda are the most famous club in Balkans. The Crveno-beli have 19 Yugoslav First League titles and have won eight domestic trophies since the breakup of Yugoslavia. Crvena Zvezda won their last league title in the 2015/2016 season, with the team finishing the campaign no less than 28 points clear of Partizan.
Speaking of Partizan, the Crno-beli are considered Crvena Zvezda’s bitterest rivals and the two teams meet in the “Eternal derby” (Veciti derbi).
