Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Paderborn will be looking to build on a 2-0 win over St. Pauli when they take on Karlsruher in the opening match of day 26. Paderborn did well to put an end to their three-game winless run, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Steffen Baumgart’s men aim to keep their promotion hopes alive, but the game against Karlsruher will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team.
Christian Eichner’s troops, on the other hand, are only five points behind automatic promotion places, meaning that they are likely to go for a win in Friday’s clash as well. However, we are unlikely to see goals galore at Benteler Arena as Karlsruher managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their previous three league fixtures. Since three goals in total have been netted in the previous four meetings between the two sides, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals.
