Whaddon Road will host Friday’s football game between Cheltenham Town and Tranmere Rovers. Despite suffering a 1-0 loss to Morecambe, the Robins remained in top two in the standings. Cheltenham Town continue to struggle on the travels, with the team producing fine displays at home ground. The Robins recorded a routine 2-0 win over Salford City in their last home game, which is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Tranmere.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, have been producing splendid displays in the second half of the season, and they are surely capable of matching Cheltenham behind closed doors. The two teams seem to be evenly matched ahead of Friday’s clash, and we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw. Goalkeeper Scott Davies, who suffered an injury in the 1-1 draw with Mansfield, is unlikely to feature against Cheltenham.

He played for a number of English clubs in the past, but, no doubt, the most notable one is Sheffield United. Chris Hussey made seven appearances for the Blades in the League One, but nowadays he is a League Two player. His main position is left-back, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left midfielder as well.
It has to be noted that he was called up for the England C team as a standby. Christopher Hussey made his Cheltenham Town debut on August 21, 2018 in a 1-1 draw with Macclesfield Town. He scored his first goal with the Robins in a 4-2 loss to Mansfield Town.

Based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, Tranmere Rovers are a professional club that compete in the League One. Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
Tranmere fans see Bolton Wanderers as the club’s main rivals, but they have built a small rivalry with Chester City and Everton as well. The Prenton Park outfit did well to make it to the League Cup final in the 1993/1994 season, but Aston Villa proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
