Our prediction for this Finland Veikkausliiga match:
Helsinki will be aiming to retain top position in the standings when they host Haka at their Bolt Arena on Matchday 16. HJK are the dominant force in the Veikkausliiga, but they head into Saturday’s clash following a 2-1 loss to AC Oulu. Japan international Atomu Tanaka, who scored as a substitute at the weekend, is widely expected to return to the starting XI. Haka, on the other hand, are not enjoying a season to remember.
Teemu Tainio’s troops failed to win the previous seven league fixtures, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling HJK’s party at Bolt Arena. Keep in mind, though, that Haka failed to turn their dominance into victory in a goalless draw with KTP. When the two teams met at Tehtaan Kentta earlier this season Helsinki recorded a 2-1 win over Haka, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.
