A place in the Europa Conference League group stages will be at stake when Qarabag and Aberdeen face each other in the two-legged tie. Qarabag set up a meeting with Aberdeen by beating the likes of Ashod and AEL Limassol, with the team being impressive at the back. You should bear in mind that under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of their last five games in all competitions. Kady is pushing for a start after scoring the winner against AEL Limassol.
The Dons, on the other hand, did well to eliminate Iceland outfit Breidablik in the third qualifying round. The Scotts aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but beating Qarabag on the road is easier said than done. Speaking of his club career, Maksim Medvedev is a product of the Qarabag football academy, and he continued playing for the Azeri giants at senior level. His main position is right-back, but he is used as both right midfielder and centre-back as well.
Medvedev made his debut in the Champions League group stages in a 6-0 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on September 12, 2017. The 175-cm tall footballer wears the No. 5 jersey at Qarabag, and his preferred foot is right.
