Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Alcorcon will be aiming to put an end to their three-match losing run when they face fellow relegation strugglers Amorebieta on Sunday. The rock-bottom side failed to impress in a 3-1 loss to Girona, with veteran Stuani crushing their defence in just ten minutes. Alcorcon are desperate to give fans something to cheer about, and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field this time out. Hugo Fraile is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
The Basques, on the other hand, recorded a morale-boosting 4-1 win over Real Valladolid. Amorebieta aim to keep on climbing the standings, but beating los Alfareros at Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo is easier said than done. A close encounter is on the cards, and we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on draw.
Highlighted Player (Richard Boateng):
Born in Accra, Ghana on July 10, 1992, Richard Boateng is a midfielder who plays for Alcorcon in Segunda Division. Boateng is a product of Liberty Babies football academy, with the Ghanaian starting his senior career at Liberty Professionals. In 2010 he moved to Spain, signing a deal with Granada.
During his spell with the Andalusian outfit, he mainly played for Granada B, but he spent a couple of years at loan at Cadiz B and San Roque as well. Richard Boateng made only one appearance for the Granada senior team in the league.
The Ghana international played for the likes of Aris Limassol, Extremadura, Melilla, and Oviedo as well before joining Alcorcon in 2019. His primary position is central midfielder, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right, and his contract with Alcorcon should expire in June 2021.
