Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Stadio Benito Stirpe will host Saturday’s football game between Frosinone and Lecce, the two promotion-chasing sides. The Canarini are eyeing their third consecutive league win, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home team. Karlo Lulic should keep his place in the starting XI after scoring a brace in the 4-1 crushing of Benevento, whilst both Lukas Klitten and Nicolo Brighenti are rated doubtful for the game.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Cosenza and Parma, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Given the attacking potentials of the two sides, we believe that over 2.5 goals betting option should be considered. As for the visiting team, Romario Benzar remains on the sidelines through suspension, while both Alessandro Tuia and Fabio Pisacane miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Francesco Zampano):
Francesco Zampano is a product of Sampdoria’s youth school. The pacey full back, who is capable of playing as a midfielder as well, began his senior career at Entella, making 51 league appearances for the club between 2011 and 2013. At the end of the 2012/2013 campaign he moved to Verona, but he was immediately sent on loan to Juve Stabia.
After playing 33 league games for the club in the 2013/2014 season, he signed a loan deal with Pescara. In July, 2015 Zampano signed a permanent deal with Pescara and it has to be noted that he made 38 league appearances for the club in the 2015/2016 Serie B campaign.
The Italian footballer, who was born in Genoa on 30 September, 1993, has three caps for Italy U20, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. His contract with Pescara expires on 30 June, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Lecce):
When you imagine a yellow-red shirt, Lecce must be the first club that comes to your mind. Founded back in 1908, Lecce are Italian club that will compete in the Serie A in the 2019/2020 season. The Giallorossi return to the Italian top flight following a seven-year absence and, as always, they will host their rivals at Stadio Via del Mare.
The venue which was opened on September 11, 1966 can hold up to 33,876 people. The likes of Antonio Conte, Graziano Pelle, Javier Chevanton, Juan Cuadrado, Mirko Vucinic, Fabrizio Miccoli and Massimo Oddo are one of the most notable footballers who played for the Italian club in the past.
Lecce and Gallipoli face each other in the Salento derby and there have been fireworks in meetings between the two clubs since the 2009/2010 Serie B season when they first met in the league.
