Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Swindon Town welcome Scunthorpe at their County Ground in a game which is of big importance for both sides. Swindon aim to stay in the playoffs race, while Scunthorpe are determined to move away from the relegation zone. The Robins do not seem to be at their sharpest at the moment, but they will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the League Two. Midfielder Jonathan Williams, who limped off with injury in a 3-0 loss to Tranmere, is unlikely to feature in Saturday’s clash.
The Iron, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Walsall, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their seven-game losing run. The rock-bottom side, though, struggle on the travels, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Swindon’s party at County Ground. To make things even worse for the visitors, midfielder Tom Pugh is banned for the match.
