Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Frosinone will look to stay in the playoffs berth when they take on Como at their Stadio Benito Stirpe on Matchday 23. Following four consecutive league wins, the Canarini suffered a 3-0 loss to Perugia in their last league match. Frosinone did well to beat both Spal and Vicenza in the previous two home fixtures, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Como. Midfielder Hamza Haoudi should be the only absentee in the home team.
Giacomo Gattuso’s troops, on the other hand, have drawn each of their last three league fixtures. Como failed to win the previous five league fixtures, and seeing that Frosinone are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the visiting team will return to Lombardy empty-handed. Both Stefano Gori and Moutir Chajla are rated doubtful for the away side.
Highlighted Player (Francesco Zampano):
Francesco Zampano is a product of Sampdoria’s youth school. The pacey full back, who is capable of playing as a midfielder as well, began his senior career at Entella, making 51 league appearances for the club between 2011 and 2013. At the end of the 2012/2013 campaign he moved to Verona, but he was immediately sent on loan to Juve Stabia.
After playing 33 league games for the club in the 2013/2014 season, he signed a loan deal with Pescara. In July, 2015 Zampano signed a permanent deal with Pescara and it has to be noted that he made 38 league appearances for the club in the 2015/2016 Serie B campaign.
The Italian footballer, who was born in Genoa on 30 September, 1993, has three caps for Italy U20, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. His contract with Pescara expires on 30 June, 2020.
