Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Gil Vicente play host to Estoril at their Estadio Cidade de Barcelos in the opening match of day 25. Gil Vicente have been performing above expectations in the 2021/2022 season, with the team sitting in top 5 ahead of the visit of Estoril. Os Galos recorded three wins in the previous four home fixtures, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Friday’s clash.
Midfielder Carvalho is banned for the match, but he should be the only absentee in the home team. Os Canarinhos, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Sporting CP and Boavista. Estoril suffered a dip in form, and seeing that Gil Vicente are eager to stay in the Conference League berth, home win should be considered. Both Rui Fonte and Lucas Africo should miss out with injuries, speaking of the away side.
