Buoyed by a rutine 5-1 win over Lorient, PSG will look to cement top position in the standings when they take on Clermont at Stade du Moustoir on Matchday 31. Les Parisiens impressed in their last league match, and it seems as if they have recovered from the heart-breaking Champions League loss to Real Madrid. PSG aim to get their job done in the national championship as soon as possible, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Clermont.
All Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe got their names on the scoresheet at the weekend, and the trio is likely to make life difficult for Clermont defenders as well. Keep in mind, though, that the likes of Verratti, Di Maria, Herrera, and Draxler will miss the game, to name just a few. The hosts, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Nantes, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered. Midfielder Salis Abdul Samed is banned for the hosts.
