All eyes will be on Estadio do Dragao when Porto and Sporting CP face each other in the Taca de Portugal semis, return leg. The Dragons defeated the Lions 2-1 in the first leg, and they are now on a quest to defend their slim lead. Bruno Costa faces race against clock to be fit for the match, while both Uribe and Manafa remain in the recovery room. The visitors, on the other hand, suffered a 2-0 loss to Benfica in the Lisbon derby, meaning that they are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Porto.
Since Sergio Conceicao’s men look unstoppable in the Portuguese top flight, home win should be considered. As for the away team, Matheus Reis returns from a domestic ban, while Zouhair Feddal should miss out through injury. Keep in mind, though, that Porto failed to beat Sporting in the previous six meetings between the two sides in all competitions.

Fabio Cardoso is a Portuguese defender who was born in Agueda (Portugal) on April 19, 1994. Cardoso started his youth career at his hometown club Agueda, but in 2008 he continued his development at Benfica. After scoring three goals in 55 appearances for Benfica B, he spent the 2015/2016 season on loan at Pacos Ferreira.
In the summer of 2017, he signed a four-year deal with Vitoria Setubal, but he spent only one season at Estadio do Bonfim. Cardoso joined Scottish club Glasgow Rangers in June 2017, signing a three-year contract with the club for a fee of around £1.3 million.
The Portuguese defender, though, made no more than 12 appearances for the Gers, joining Santa Clara in the summer of 2018. Fabio Cardoso has four caps with the Portugal U20 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team. His primary position is a centre-back, but he is often used as a left-back. His preferred foot is right.

Lions play their games at Estadio Jose Alvelade in front of 50,000 people and are the third most successful club in the country with 46 titles in Portuguese competitions and a title in the European Cup Winner’s Cup from 1963-64.
During this time that is also known as the club’s golden years, Sporting Lisbon won the majority of their 18 Primeira Liga titles in total. Sporting Lisbon boasts the quality football youth academy system which has yielded world-class footballers such as Paulo Furte, Simao Sabrosa, Nani and Ballon d’Or winners Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo.
