Our prediction for this Championship match:
There will be fireworks when Middlesbrough and WBA go head to head at Riverside Stadium in the Championship derby. The Boro aim to build on a 2-0 win over Olympique Marseille, but Saturday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. Summer signings Darragh Lenihan, Zack Steffen, and Ryan Giles are eyeing their Middlesbrough debuts, while Djed Spence, Dejan Stojanovic, Nathan Wood, and Toyosi Olusanya are no longer parts of the team.
The Baggies, on the other hand, did well to beat Bundesliga side Hertha in their last warm-up game, but seeing that the Boro have turned their Riverside Stadium into a real fortress, we do not believe that the visitors are going to grab something from the match. The likes of Jayson Molumby, John Swift, Jed Wallace, and Okay Yokuslu have signed for the club, while Sam Johnstone and Romaine Sawyers will not be playing for the Hawthorns outfit anymore.
