Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Rangers will be aiming to kick off the 2022/2023 Premiership campaign in style when they take on Livingston at Tony Macaroni Arena. The Gers are eager to regain the trophy, and they will surely give 100% to get off to a flying start to the season. The club chiefs have been very active in the summer transfer window, with all Ben Davies, Ridvan Yilmaz, Rabbi Matondo, Antonio Colak, and Tom Lawrence joining the club, but Joe Aribo, Calvin Bassey, and Cedric Itten could be sorely missed in the upcoming domestic campaign.
The Lions, on the other hand, did well to beat Kelty Hearts, Cove Rangers, and Albion Rovers in the League Cup, but Inverness proved to be a big catch for them. Anyhow, Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has a number of high-profile footballers to choose from, who are definitely capable of beating Livingston. Ianis Hagi should be the only absentee in the away team, while Livingston head coach David Martindale should have a full squad to choose from.
