Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Following a 1-1 draw with Monaco, Rennes will look to record their first win of the season when they take on Ajaccio on Matchday 3. Les Rouges et Noirs have yet to find their best form in the new Ligue 1 season, but Sunday’s clash could be the turning point for the hosts. Gaetan Laborde, who opened his goal-scoring account at the weekend, should continue to lead the line for the hosts, while all Lorenz Assignon, Birger Meling, and Warmed Omari remain in the treatment room.
Ajaccio, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Lens at the weekend. Olivier Pantaloni’s troops, though, are not considered good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Rennes’ party at Roazhon Park. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of Matchday 3.
