Frosinone
Parma and Frosinone go head to head at Stadio Ennio Tardini in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. The Gli Emiliani did well to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Ternana, with the team beating Ascoli 3-1 before the international window, but they should not stop now. Parma are eyeing promotion to the Serie A, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play against Frosinone.
Both Simone Romagnoli and Daniel Ansaldi remain on the sidelines with injuries for the home team. The Canarini, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Palermo, but beating Fabio Pecchia’s troops on the road is easier said than done. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Marcus Rohden should miss out with a muscle problem, while Anthony Oyono is a major doubt.

Gianluigi Buffon is a legendary Italian goalkeeper. The 191-cm-tall shoot-stopper was born in Carrara, Italy on 28 January, 1978 and he began his senior career at Parma. After making 169 league appearances for the Gli Emiliani, he joined Juventus in 2001 and he has been playing for the “Old Lady” ever since.
Buffon is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the history of football and he won seven Serie A trophies with Juve. In 2006 he helped Italy clinch the FIFA World Cup trophy as they defeated France on penalties in the title game. He managed to keep no less than five clean sheets at the showpiece tournament in Germany.
Buffon set a number of records and it has to be noted that he is a goalkeeper with most number of clean sheets and penalty kicks saved in the Serie A. His mother Mara Stella was a discus thrower, while his father Adriano was a weightlifter. Gigi’s contract with Juve expires on 30 June, 2018.

Back in 1912 Frosinone were founded as Unione Sportiva Frusinate and it has to be noted that the colors of the team were originally red and blue. They were later changed to the current yellow and blue and the Canarini have been wearing those kits ever since. Frosinone made their first ever appearance in the Serie A in the 2015/2016 season, but they failed to secure the promotion.
The Canarini finished the season in 19th place in the standings, eight points behind Udinese, who eventually avoided relegation to Serie B. However, two years later Frosinone returned to the Italian top flight as they defeated Palermo 3-2 on aggregate in the play-offs final.
The club play their home games at Stadio Benito Stirpe, the stadium that was opened in 2017. The venue can hold 16,227 spectators and it is owned by the Municipality of Frosinone. The construction cost €20 million.
