Tottenham will look to make amends for a 2-0 loss to Manchester United when they host Newcastle United to their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League round 13. Spurs have been having their ups and downs on the road this season, but they have a chance to keep their 100% record at home intact. Defender Emerson Royal is back from suspension, while summer signing Richarlison remains on the sidelines with a calf injury. Dejan Kulusevski is a major doubt, and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
The Magpies, on the other hand, are enjoying a very successful first half of the season, with the team sitting just below the Europa League berth. Newcastle proved their worth in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Everton, and given Tottenham’s anything but good display against the Red Devils, the share of spoils is on the horizon in London. Kane is a modern striker, who is extremely dangerous in the opposition box, but it was some outstanding goals from distance as well as link-up play with teammates that earned him an excellent reputation in world football. Kane is expected to lead both Tottenham and England in years to come, that is if he can resist the lure of top European clubs that continue to cast admiring glances his way.
