High-flying Las Palmas will be looking to retain top position in the standings when they face Cartagena in the La Liga 2 round 12. La Union Deportiva are determined to return to the Spanish top flight, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to meet the goal. With no fresh injuries to report, head coach Paco Pimienta is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Ponferradina at the weekend.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Ibiza, but seeing that they were beaten by Las Palmas in each of their last two meetings at Estadio de Gran Canaria, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Enzo Loiodice, who was born in Paris, France on the 27th of November, 2000, started playing football at the age of eight with SC Paris. His journey as a youth player continued at FC Gobelins before completing at Dijon, where he is now a first-team player on a contract that ends in 2012.
On the 28th of April, 2018, Loidice made his professional debut, featuring in Dijon's 3-1 away loss to Bordeaux in League one. The 19-year-old midfielder, who is known for his ball retention ability and vision, represents his country at the youth level.
He made his under-20 team debut in an international friendly against Argentina U20 on the 20th of March, 2019, and has so far capped six times for his country at that level. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a defensive midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
