Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Go Ahead Eagles play host to Excelsior at their De Adelaarshorst on day 12 of the new Eredivisie campaign. The hosts have drawn each of their last four league fixtures, but their displays in October are surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of upcoming challenges. All Rashaan Fernandes, Federico Mattiello, and Erwin Mulder should miss out through injuries for the home team.
Excelsior, on the other hand, did well to shock AZ Alkmaar (2-1) in their last league match, with the team climbing to top ten in the Eredivisie table. The Kralingers, though, have been struggling on the travels this season, which is probably the main reason why we predict that Go Ahead Eagles will pick up all three points from the match. Yassine Ayoub continues to miss out with injury, while fellow midfielder Sven Nieuwpoort is a major doubt.
