Our prediction for this Championship match:
Out-of-sorts WBA will look to put an end to their three-game losing run when they take on Blackpool on Tuesday evening. The Baggies have been underperforming this season, but the midweek clash could be the turning point for new boss Richard Beale and his men. WBA’s display in a 2-0 loss to Sheffield Untied was anything but poor, which is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of United.
Defender Kyle Bartley is back from suspension, while both John Swift and Jayson Molumby should be recalled to the starting XI. The Seasiders, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Preston (4-2) and Coventry City (2-1), but seeing that the relegation-threatened hosts want this victory more than the mid-table visitors, we are going to bet on Richard Beale’s charges this time out. With no fresh injury worries to report, Michael Appleton is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Sky Blues.

Chris Maxwell is a Welsh goalkeeper who was born in St Asaph on July 30, 1990. Maxwell began his youth career at Penrhyn Bay (1998-2000) and in 2000 he moved to Wrexham. The 188-cm-tall shoot-stopper made his first-team debut for Wrexham at the age of 18 and he played 76 league games for the club from 2008 to 2012.

Chris Maxwell made 110 appearances in the league for the Trawlermen and on May 16, 2016 he signed a three-year deal with Championship side Preston North End. You should know that he managed to keep clean sheets in 38 appearances for the Lilywhites in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign.
Due to his dual citizenship, Maxwell is capable of representing both Wales and Scotland at senior level, but he played for the Dragons at youth level, being capped for the U21 team 16 times.

Blackpool FC are a professional English club based in Blackpool, Lancashire. Considering that Blackpool is a seaside town, it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Seasiders. Founded back in 1887, the club play their home matches at Bloomfield Road, which can hold up to 17,338 spectators. In the 2009/2010 season Blackpool secured promotion to the Premier League, but they were not competitive at this level, suffering relegation to the Championship the following season.
The club’s biggest success, though, came in 1953 when they defeated Bolton Wanderers 4-3 in the FA Cup final. Blackpool are well known for their orange shirts, but the dominant colour of their away kit is white. Preston are considered the club’s biggest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the West Lancashire derby.
Charlie Adam, who played for Liverpool and has 26 caps for Scotland national team, is regarded as one of the club’s most notable players.
