Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Bescot Stadium will host Thursday’s football game between Walsall and Stockport County, the two teams who are almost level on points in the League Two table. The Saddlers are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, and a triumph over Stockport should see them climb to the playoffs places. With no fresh injury worries to report, boss Michael Flynn is unlikely to make changes to the team that won the Boxing Day clash.
Meanwhile, the away side aim to build on back-to-back wins over Hartlepool (5-0) and Crewe (2-0). Since Stockport have been impressive in front of goal, we believe that punters from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on over 2.5 goals. Wales midfielder Mecauley Southam limped off with injury, with James Brown likely to step up. There are no other fresh injury worries in the visiting team.
