Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Prenton Park will host Saturday’s League Two game between Tranmere and Sutton, the two mid-table sides. Tranmere aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Crewe, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail in their first home game of the year. Paul Lewis is back from suspension, while Joel Mumbongo could sneak into the starting XI this time out.
The visitors, on the other hand, extended their winning run to three games against AFC Wimbledon, with the team moving closer to the playoffs berth. Sutton have been in a splendid form of late, and given Tranmere’s anything but good display against the Railwaymen, we believe that away win should be considered. With no fresh injury worries to report, Matt Gray is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Dons.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Turnbull):
Born in Trowbridge, England, on October 30, 1994, Jordan Turnbull is a professional footballer who plays for Northampton Town as a defender. Turnbull is a product of Swindon Town football academy, but in 2007 he was spotted by Southampton scouts.
Despite signing a professional contract with Southampton, he did not see any game action with the Saints at senior level. The English footballer made no fewer than 86 league appearances for Swindon Town during his loan spell with the Robins, and in 2016 he signed a contract with Coventry City.
Jordan Turnbull spent the 2017/2018 on loan Partick Thistle before joining Northampton Town permanently. Speaking of his international career, the Northampton centre-back has two caps with the England U19 team, and one cap with the England U20. Jordan Turnbull, who is used as a left-back as well, wears the number 6 jersey at Northampton Town. His preferred foot is left.
