Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Buoyed by a 3-2 win over Borussia M’gladbach, Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to extend their winning run to five games when they take on Bochum on Matchday 17. Bayer are still seven points behind the Conference League berth, meaning that Wednesday’s clash is of big importance for the home side. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but all Charles Aranguiz, Joshua Eze, Patrick Schick, and Timothy Fosu-Mensah remain on the sidelines.
Bochum, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Thomas Letsch’s troops did well to beat Hertha 3-1 in front of home fans at the weekend, but given their poor away record (1-0-7) in the 2022/2023 season, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Leverkusen’s party at BayArena.
