Heerenveen
Utrecht and Heerenveen face each other at Stadion Galgenwaard in a highly-anticipated ERedivisie game. Utrecht played out a thrilling 5-5 draw with Twente at the weekend, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Anastasios Douvikas, who scored a hat-trick against AZ, while providing two assists for his teammates. Both Bas Dost and Ramon Hendriks remain on the sidelines with injuries.
De Superfriezen, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Fortuna Sittard and Vitesse, but given their shaky defence, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s football game. As for the visiting side, both Andries Noppert and Sven van Beek are out of contention with injuries. In the first half of the season Utrecht recorded a 2-1 win over Heerenveen.

Mike van der Hoorn is a Dutch international who plays for Arminia Bielefeld as a centre-back. Van der Hoorn spent his youth career at the likes of Buitenboys, Omniworld and Utrecht, and he continued playing for the “Cathedral citizens” at senior level.
The Dutch footballer then joined Ajax where he scored three goals in 33 appearances in the Eredivisie. During his spell with the famous Eredivisie club he made 22 appearances for Jong Ajax as well. In 2016 he decided to move to UK as he signed a three-year deal with Swansea City.
After spending four seasons at the Liberty Stadium, Mikel van der Hoorn joined Arminia Bielefeld in the summer of 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic. The Dutch defender made his Bundesliga debut on September 19, 2020 in a 1-1 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt. His primary position is centre-back, and he has a contract with Arminia until June 30, 2023.

Heerenveen is a Dutch football club that is well known for their white shirts with blue stripes. De Superfriezen (The Super Frisians) play home matches at Abe Lenstra Stadium, which has the capacity of 26,400 people.
Heerenveen have yet to win the Eredivisie title, but they impressed in the 1999/00 season, with the team finishing the process in second position in the standings. Thanks to a top-two finish, the club booked their place in the Champions League. Heerenveen, though, recorded only one in the group stages of the elite competition as they defeated Olympiakos 1-0 at home ground. De Superfizien retain a fierce rivals with Cambuur, and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
