Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Monday’s football game between Villarreal and Getafe will bring down the curtain on day 23 of the 2022/2023 La Liga campaign. The Yellow Submarine aim to recover from a 4-2 loss to Mallorca, but they will have to do it without suspended midfielder Manu Trigueros. Defender Alberto Moreno is back from suspension, while all Nicolas Jackson, Giovani Lo Celso, and Francis Coquelin should miss out through injuries.
Los Azulones, on the other hand, did well to beat Valencia thanks to Borja Mayoral’s goal, but given their poor winless run on the road, we predict that Villarreal are going to return to winning ways in the national championship this weekend. Former Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena returns from suspension, while there are no fresh injury worries in the away team. In their last meeting at Estadio de la Ceramica Villarreal defeated Getafe thanks to Manu Trigueros’ goal.
