Oxford United
LNER stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Lincoln City and Oxford United, the two mid-table sides. The Imps have drawn each of their last four league fixtures, with the team remaining in the middle of the table. Matty Virtue is a major doubt, while both Joe Walsh and Adam Jackson are out of contention with injuries. Lewis Montsma, though, is back from suspension.
The Yellows, on the other hand, are on a three-match losing run in the League One, and given their shaky defence, we predict that Lincoln City are going to emerge triumphant in Saturday’s clash. Sam Baldock limped off with injury in the last league match, with talented forward Gatlin O’Donkor (18) likely to step up. In the first half of the season Lincoln defeated Oxford 2-1, which is yet another reason home win should be considered.
