Midfielder Pierre Kunde is back from international duty, while Danilo Soares returns from suspension. Cristian Gamboa (MCL injury) should be the only absentee in the home team.

The Uzbekistan-born central defender plays at the heart of Hannover’s defense. His idol was Roy Maakay, so he started his career as a striker, but he soon turned to defense. Anton Waldemar was a mere teenager when he made his first appearance for Die Roten in February 2016 against VfB Stuttgart.
Waldemar only had to wait for two months to net his first goal against Borussia Monchengladbach. The following season he commanded Hannover’s defense in Bundesliga 2, making 31 appearances, helping his team to return to the top flight immediately after the relegation.
Even though he was born in Olmaliq, Uzbekistan, Waldemar decided to pledge allegiance to Germany, debuting for the U21 squad in September 2016, making 7 appearances so far. The press in Germany compare him to Javi Martinez from Bayern Munich, because Anton Waldemar can play in the heart of defense, as well as a defensive midfielder and a right-back.
