Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Saturday’s football game at Den Dreef pits together Leuven and Mechelen, the two mid-table sides. Leuven aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Anderlecht and Genk, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach. Midfielder Sofian Kiyine remains on the sidelines with personal problems, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team. Mechelen, meanwhile, suffered three defeats in the previous four league fixtures.
The visitors are eager to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to Club Brugge. Since De Kakers will go for a victory as well, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Keep in mind, though, that in their last meeting in the Belgian top flight the two sides played out a goalless draw. As for the visiting side, both Sandy Walsh and Rayyane Falchou are major doubts, and they will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
