Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Palermo will be aiming to put an end to their five-game winless run in the Serie A when they face SPAL on Matchday 36. The Sicilians have a chance to climb to the playoffs berth and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Gli Spalini. Both Dario Saric and Salvatore Elia are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away side. The visitors, on the other hand, are eager to escape the relegation zone.
SPAL, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the home side. Matteo Arena is banned for the match, while both Radja Nainggolan and Luca Valzania miss out with injuries. In their last meeting at the venue, back in 2009 Palermo defeated Como 4-2 in the Coppa Italia and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
