Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Spezia and Milan take on each other at Stadio Alberto Picco in the Serie A round 35. The Bianconeri suffered yet another dip in form, with the team losing each of their last three league matches and, as a result, they sit in the relegation zone. Spezia are desperate to pick up vital three points in the relegation battle, but they are seen as underdogs in Saturday’s encounter. All Daniel Maldini, Emil Holm, and Joao Moutinho are out of contention with injuries, while Petar Zovko is a major doubt.
The Rossoneri, on the other hand, will be without key attacker Rafael Leao, who limped off with injury in a 2-0 win over Lazio. Anyhow, away triumph should be considered as Stefano Pioli’s troops have a chance to climb to the Champions League berth. Alexis Saelemaekers is widely expected to replace Leao in the starting XI.
Highlighted Player (Simon Kjaer):
Simon Kjaer began his senior career at FC Midtjylland and in 2008 he moved to Italy, signing a deal with Palermo. The Danish footballer scored his first goal for Palermo on 2 November in a 3-0 victory over Chievo Verona.

The 189-cm-tall footballer, who was born in Horsens, Denmark on 16 March, 1989, signed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce on 16 June, 2015 for a fee of €7.65 million. Simon Kjaer was named Danish U19 Player of the Year in 2007 and he has 10 caps for the Denmark U19 team. The Fenerbahce defender played for Denmark at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and he started the games against Netherlands and Cameroon in the group stages of the showpiece tournament.
Highlighted Team (Spezia):
Spezia is a professional Italian club based in Spezia, Liguria. The Bianconeri secured promotion to the Serie A in the 2019/20 season, with the team beating Frosinone in the Serie B playoffs final. Spezia are well known for their black and white home jerseys, and black is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The club’s home ground Stadio Alberto Picco has the capacity of 10,336 people. The venue was opened back in 1919, with architect Gregotti being in charge of the project. In 2002 the club chiefs decided to reach an agreement with Inter which saw Spezia become Inter’s feeder club.
As a result, the likes of Goran Pandev, Aco Stojkov, and Alex Cordaz joined the Bianconeri in the first season. Spezia then suffered a bankruptcy, but in 2008 they were re-founded. In the 2020/21 season the Bianconeri will compete in the Italian elite division for the first time ever.
