A spot in the Europa Conference League will be at stake when Osasuna and Girona face each other in Pamplona on Sunday afternoon. Los Rojillos aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Getafe and you should know that they are eyeing their 11th home win of the season. Forward Ante Budimir is banned for the match, while Darko Brasanac misses out with an ACL problem. Both Moi Gomez and Nacho Vidal are major doubts.
The Catalan outfit, on the other hand, aim to put an end to their four-game winless run, but beating Osasuna at El Sadar is easier said than done. Anyhow, we are tempted to put our money on under 2.5 goals as both sides are likely to adopt a cautious approach in the decider. Cristhian Stuani is considered one of the best Uruguay attackers. Stuani was born on 12 October, 1986 and he began his senior career at Danubio. He impressed with the Uruguayan outfit, scoring 23 goals in 36 appearances for the club and, as a result, he became a target for a number of top European clubs.
In 2008 he signed a contract with Reggina, but he failed to impress in 17 appearances for the Italian team. After spending the 2012/2013 season on loan at Espanyol, Christian Stuani signed a permanent deal with the Catalan side in 2013. Stuani scored 12 goals in 37 league appearances for Espanyol in the 2014/2015 Primera Division campaign, but at the end of the season he moved to Middlesbrough for a reported €3 million fee.
The 186-cm-tall striker made his Uruguay debut on 14 November, 2012 in a friendly win over Poland. Stuani also represented la Celeste at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The colour of Osasuna’s home kit is red, while the team’s shorts are navy blue. Los Rojillos dropped to the Segunda Division at the end of the 2013/2014 La Liga campaign, but they did not spend too many time in the Spanish second tier. The club returned to the elite division in 2016 after beating Girona in the play-offs.
Osasuna made it to the Spanish Copa del Rey final in 2005, but they eventually lost to Real Betis after extra time in the title game. The meaning of the word Osasuna is “health” in Basque and it is used in a sense of strength.
