Following back-to-back defeats to Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Galaxy, San Jose Earthquakes will look to return to winning ways in the MLS when they take on Minnesota United on Sunday morning. San Jose suffered a dip in form, but despite their poor run of results, they are still sitting in the playoffs berth. Both Judson and Nathan Cardoso are out of contention through injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Loons, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous five league matches, which is probably the main reason why we predict they are going to hold San Jose Earthquakes to a draw. The opposition back-line should have Emanuel Reynoso at bay as the Argentina midfielder scored a brace against Colorado Rapids, whereas all Kervin Arriaga, Robin Lod, and Ryen Jiba remain in the recovery room. Bongokuhle Hlongwane is yet another absentee in the visiting team.

Wil Trapp is an American footballer who plays for Columbus Crew in MLS as a midfielder. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Trapp played for Akron Zips during his college career and in 2013 he returned to his hometown club Columbus Crew. Over the years the 173-cm tall footballer has established himself as a first-team regular and thanks to his thrilling performances in the Major League Soccer, he earned a place in the USA national team.
Wil Trapp made his USA debut on January 28, 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Chile. The Columbus man did well to wear captain’s armband in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina in January, 2018. Speaking of his club success, Trapp made it to the Eastern Conference play-offs with Columbus in 2015. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a centre midfielder as well.
The American footballer graduated from Lincoln High School where he was named the 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year.

San Jose Earthquakes are members of the Western Conference of Major League Soccer. The Quakes have been participating in the league since 1996 and they won their first MLS Cup trophy in 2001. Back then San Jose outplayed star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy in the title game, but it has to be noted that they scored the winner in the extra time.
Two years later the Quakes managed to repeat the success, with the team beating Chicago Fire in the 2003 MLS Cup final. Avaya Stadium is the home ground of San Jose Earthquakes and the capacity of the venue is 18.000. The construction of the stadium cost no less than $100 million and the venue was opened in March, 2015.
