Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Atalanta will look to recover from a 3-2 loss to Fiorentina when they take on Rakow in the opening match of their Europa League campaign. The Orobici have been involved in some high-scoring games of late and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Both Mario Pasalic and Gianluca Scamacca are pushing for a start, while forward El Bilal Toure is sidelined with a tendon injury.
Dawid Szwarga’s troops, on the other hand, defeated LSK Lodz 1-0 at the weekend, with the team extending their winning run in the national championship to three games. Rakow, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against Atalanta, who have turned their Gewiss Stadium into a real fortress. A man to watch in the away team will be experienced forward Lukasz Zwolinski, who has netted three goals in the national championship so far this term. This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs in a competitive match.
