Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Following a 2-1 win over Newport County, Harrogate will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Stockport on Saturday afternoon. The Sulphurites have been involved in some high-scoring games of late and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against the Hatters. Both Thompson and O’Connor should be recalled to the starting XI after the duo was rested in the EFL Trophy defeat to Accrington.
Stockport, on the other hand, are on a seven-game winning run in all competitions and given their signs of improvement in front of goal, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. As for the away team, forward Isaac Olaofe returns to the starting line-up after he was given a rest in the EFL Trophy triumph over Salford City on Tuesday evening, as well as key midfielder Antoni Sarcevic.
