High-flying Morecambe will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon. The Shrimps have been showing signs of improvement of late and a win over AFC Wimbledon should see them climb to the playoffs berth. Donald Love limped off with injury in the last league match, with Chris Stokes likely to step up.
The Dons, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the previous four league matches. Born in Rochdale, England on December 2, 1994, Donald Love started his youth career at Nortwich Town before joining Manchester United football academy in 2002.
Eleven years later he signed a professional contract with the famous English club and he made his Man Utd debut in a 2-1 loss to Midtjylland in the 2015/2016 Europa League knockout stages. During his spell at Manchester United Donald Love was sent on loan to Wigan Athletic and in the summer of 2016 he joined Sunderland.
After making 27 appearances for the Black Cats in the league, Love moved to fellow League One side Shrewsbury Town. Despite being born in England, Donald Love represents Scotland in international matches. The Shrewsbury Town defender has 5 caps with Scotland U21 team.
