Following a hard-fought win over Bristol City, Southampton will be aiming to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Cardiff City in the Championship round 19 on Saturday afternoon. The Saints are eyeing their fourth consecutive win at home and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Barring any fresh injury worries, Russell Martin is unlikely to make changes to the team that won the midweek clash.
The Bluebirds, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 1-0 loss to WBA and given Southampton’s fine home record, we do not believe that Erol Bulut’s troops are capable of grabbing something from the match. The good news for the South Wales outfit defender Jamilu Collins misses out through suspension, while both Aaron Ramsey and Callum ODowda continue to miss out with injuries.
