Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
After rolling over lower-league side Buckie Thistle 5-0 in the Scottish Cup, Celtic will look to retain top position in the Premiership standings when they take on Ross County on Saturday afternoon. The Hoops are on a five-game winning run in all competitions and they are seen as hot favourites to beat Ross County at Celtic Park. Daizen Maeda is on international duty with Japan, while both James McCarthy and Cameron Carter-Vickers remain in the recovery room.
The Staggies, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the Scottish Cup loss (0-3) to Partick Thistle and given their anything but good form in the Premier League, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. In their last meeting in the Scottish top flight Celtic outplayed Ross County 3-0. Jack Baldwin is banned for the match, while all Dylan Smith, Ross Callachan, and Ben Paton miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Joe Hart):
