Sparkles will be flying when Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille lock horns in the Choc des Olympiques derby on Sunday evening. Les Gones are having a season to forget, but it remains to be seen if signing of veteran Nemanja Matic is going to help the team improve their game. As Lyon experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Rennes, home win should not be considered. Aforementioned midfielder Matic should be the only absentee in the home team as he is struggling with a muscle injury.
OM, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Monaco in their last league match. Marseille are eager to record their first win of the year and we predict that they will take advantage of Lyon’s shaky defence. The good news for the visiting team is that all Iliman Ndiaye, Pape Gueye, and Simon Ngapandouetnbu are back from international duty.

Valentin Rongier is a French footballer, who plays for Ligue 1 side Nantes as a defensive midfielder. Rongier, who was born on December 7, 1994 in Macon (France) scored two goals in 39 appearances for Nantes B from 2013 to 2015 and he made his Ligue 1 debut with Les Canaris on October 18, 2014 in a 1-1 draw with Stade de Reims.
