Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Saturday’s football game at Estadi Nacional pits together Andorra and Mirandes, the two bottom-table sides. Andorra are stuck at the bottom with only 29 points on their account and they are desperate to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Amorebieta and Cartagena. Forward Christos Albanis remains on the sidelines with injury, while midfielder Marti Vila is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Los Rojillos, on the other hand, are five points clear of the relegation zone. Mirandes, though, are on a five-game losing run on the road and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing more than one point from Saturday’s clash. Forward Javier Marton misses out with an ankle problem, but the Athletic Bilbao loanee should be the only absentee in the visiting team. Alessio Lisci should stick to the 5-3-2 formation.
Highlighted Team (Mirandes):
Mirandes is a Spanish club founded on May 3, 1927. Los Rojillos compete in Segunda division, with the team still eyeing their first ever promotion to La Liga. Mirandes’ home colours are red and black, while their away kit is mainly light blue.
Mirandes did remarkably well to make it to the Copa del Rey semis in the 2019/20 season, with the team outplaying the likes of Celta, Villarreal, and Sevilla in the process. Real Sociedad, though, proved to be a big catch for Mirandes in the Spanish Cup semis. Los Rojillos welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal de Anduva. The stadium was opened back in 1950, with the venue being able to host 5,759 spectators.
Mirandes played their first game on June 4, 1927, with the team defeating Arabarra thanks to Fidel Angulo’s goal. Zaragoza and Alaves are considered one of the club’s main rivals. Los Rojillos have won Castilla and Leon Cup on two occasions (2011, 2012).
