Buoyed by a 3-0 win over Magdeburg, Hannover will be aiming to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Schalke on Sunday. Die Roten are determined to book their spot in the playoffs and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at die Knappen. Cedric Teuchert is pushing for a rare start after getting his name on the scoresheet in the triumph over Magdeburg, while defender Jannik Dehm is banned for the match due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Schalke, on the other hand, are only two points clear of the relegation zone ahead of the trip to Lower Saxony. Die Knappen are on a four-game losing run on the road and, taking everything into account, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Hannover’s party at Heinz-von-Heiden-Arena. The visitors will be without Lino Tempelmann, Leo Greiml, Ron Schallenberg, and Brandon Soppy in Sunday’s clash.
