All eyes will be on Stade Joseph Marien when St Gilloise and Antwerp square off against each other in the Jupiler League derby. Last time out Antwerp won the trophy on the last day of the season, but Mark van Bommel’s men failed to defend their trophy. As Antwerp have been anything but impressive on the travels of late, away win should not be considered. Both Bjorn Engels and Jean Butez continue to miss out with injuries for the visiting team.
The hosts, on the other hand, finished the regular season in the first place in the standings, but given their poor displays in the Championship group, they are unlikely to lift the silverware. Anyhow, both teams to score betting option should be considered as both sides will go for a win in Sunday’s encounter. Royale Union SG defender Fedde Leysen remains on the sidelines with injury.
