Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
Sligo Rovers will be aiming to build on a 2-1 win over Shelbourne when they take on Drogheda United at Showgrounds on Matchday 19. Sligo did well to escape the danger zone and they are seen as favourites to beat the Drogs as well. Conor Reynolds is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the last league match, with Owen Elding being ready to step up. All Power, Pijnaker, Mahon, and Fitzgerald remain in the recovery room.
The visitors, on the other hand, extended their losing run to three games against Shamrock Rovers. As Drogheda have been struggling at the back of late, we believe that there is a big value in betting on John Russell’s troops. Both Warren Davis and Aaron McNally are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team, while Andrew Quinn should be recalled to the starting XI.
