Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Following a 2-2 draw with Olympique Lyon, Auxerre will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Ligue 1 when they face Rennes on Matchday 10. The newcomers are eyeing their fourth home win of the process and they are surely capable of making life difficult for les Rouges et Noirs. Ivory Coast midfielder Hamed Junior Traore limped off with injury in the last league match, with Ado Onaiwu likely to step up.
Rennes, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Le Havre. Julien Stephan’s troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but given their ups and downs on the road, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. In their last meeting in the French top flight the two sides played out a goalless draw. Defender Alidu Seidu is banned for the visiting side, while midfielder Henrik Meister has yet to overcome his injury.
