Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Windsor Park will host Thursday’s football game between Larne and St. Gallen. Larne aim to build on a 2-0 win over Glentoran, but they do not seem to be competitive at this level. As the Northern Ireland outfit failed to impress in back-to-back losses to Molde and Shamrock Rovers, home win should not be considered. The good news for the hosts is that forward Conor McKendry is back from suspension.
St. Gallen, on the other hand, are on an eight-game winless run in all competitions, but they will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Given Larne’s shaky defence, we predict that St. Gallen are going to pick up all three points from the match. As for the visiting side, Felix Mambimbi limped off with injury in a 1-1 draw with Sion, with Kevin Csoboth likely to step up.
